Fundraising

Epilepsy Services of West Central Florida (ESWCF) was founded in 1973. Board Members and volunteers work to provide funding grants for the treatment and care of persons with epilepsy and their families.

To achieve its goals, the Foundation developed several programs:

  • Special events
  • Contributions
  • Leave-A-Legacy/Planned Giving programs
  • Volunteering opportunities

The monies raised are critical to meet the needs of the persons coming for medical care and other support services. Building a volunteer base is also important to meeting the agency’s goals. Without volunteers, ESWCF would be unable to develop and expand awareness and support for epilepsy. The Board of Directors and volunteers hope you will join us in helping our families successfully face the challenges epilepsy brings.

Leave-A-Legacy/Planned Giving

Life begins as a promise. It ends as a memory. If our lives were to end today, what would they have meant? What difference did we make? What legacy did we leave? By including a charitable gift in your estate plan for the ESWCF, the impact of you life can be felt and remembered for generations. Many people believe they lack sufficient assets to include a charitable gift in their will. They assume that the joy of philanthropy is a privilege of the wealthy - not everyday people like themselves. This is not true.

Today, people of all ages and backgrounds are making a difference in the lives that follow. A charitable bequest in your will - whether $100 or $1 million - would be appreciated by the ESWCF.

ESWCF needs financial assistance from people like you in order to continue its mission of working toward better treatment and care for persons with epilepsy. When you Leave A Legacy, you make sure help continues to be there for those who need it.
